Located within the boundaries of the Natural Park of the Serra da Estrela mountains, the house is a short distance from the town of Gouveia, it is a house of impressive proportions and ideal for modern family living. The total area of land is 22,000 sq metres made up of three separate and discrete plots.

Little remains of the original crofter's cottage and the reconstructed house has been designed to conform to the very strict planning and design rules that prevail within the Natural Park. It has a total construction area of 370sq m and a living area of 340 sq m..

On the ground floor the south wing of the house is dominated by the large lounge and open plan dining area. The rooms are glass-fronted and a double door leads to an outside viewing terrace. The north wing contains two bedrooms, a shower room, a seperate WC and a modern fitted kitchen.

Access to the upper floor in the south wing is via a staircase leading to a large mezzanine floor area continuing on to the upper floor of the north wing, which contains the master bedroom and bedroom number 3. The master bedroom is glass-fronted, has an integral bath and shower room, fitted wardrobes and access to a viewing balcony. The fourth bedroom is glass-fronted, has an integral shower room, fitted wardrobes and access to a viewing balcony.

The grounds are extensive and contain a mountain stream which is the same source as the world famous mineral water from the area. The grounds have scope for development into a tourist project if desired.
